Free LoisLaw Access

The Massachusetts Trial Court Libraries are now offering free remote access to Loislaw. The following is a post from their blog, Massachusetts Law Updates.

"We are thrilled to announce that we are now providing free access to Loislaw from your home or office. You will need a library card from the law libraries to access this service, but anyone can get a card at no charge by stopping by one of the law libraries (with a photo ID). Loislaw offers you access to primary law--statutes, cases, regulations and rules-- from all 50 states and Federal sources, as well as access to over 100 MCLE titles full-text! This is the second database we are able to bring our customers, joining HeinOnline, which provides access to full-text law review articles from over 1100 law reviews and more."

If you are a student or faculty member of Suffolk Law, you can sign up for your own account through the Suffolk Law Library (call the reference desk at x8516 for the access code) but this is a great resource for after graduation.
