Call for student papers
The Legal Scholarship Blog has announced the American Bar Association Section of Labor and Employment Law and College of Labor and Employment Lawyers Annual Law Student Writing Competition 2011.
Also, the American Association of Law Librarians LexisNexis Call for Papers has a student division that law students can submit to. See more details here.

Westlaw Next Training - Sign Up Now!
Hello Students,
Thomson West has introduced a new research platform called Westlaw Next. The law library will be offering the following short training sessions on this new platform.
Thursday, Jan. 27th, at 2:00 p.m.
Wednesday, Feb. 2nd, at 5:30 p.m.
Thursday, Feb. 3rd, at 2:00 p.m.
Thursday, Feb. 3rd, at 5:30 p.m.
These trainings will all be held in room 365 and will be about 20 minutes. You will learn about key features of Westlaw Next and differences between this new platform and the classic Westlaw with which you are currently familiar. To sign up for this training, please go to the library workshop page.
In the meantime, if you have any questions please feel free to contact us at 617-573-8516, by email at lawref@suffolk.edu, or stop and see us in the library.

Welcome back. Hope you all had a nice break.
We wanted to make you aware of the new Government Printing Office website, FDsys. FDsys will be replacing gpoaccess.gov in a few short months.
