Oceans Act of 2008
			  Yesterday Governor Patrick signed the nation's first comprehensive ocean planning law.  The Oceans Act of 2008 requires Massachusetts to create a plan to manage development in its coastal waters, balancing natural resource preservation with traditional and new uses, including renewable energy.
