Call for Papers: Women’s Bodily Freedom (Student Competition)
The Modern American (TMA) announces an essay competition sponsored by the Women’s Bar Association of the District of Columbia and American University Washington College of Law (WCL). Topic: the status and future of women’s bodily freedom in American policy-making and jurisprudence.
The competition is open to all full-time and part-time law students enrolled in and attending an accredited law school in the United States. The submission deadline is Oct. 1, 2010.
The winner of the competition will receive $1,000 and be published in TMA. For more details, go here.
